You may remember Valentina and myself from the 60x60 dance project we did here in London last year. We were delighted to have been given your track 'Something Happened' to work with as we loved the beautifully dark and mysterious atmosphere it created. The one minute dance we made and performed to it was fun to do and was well received. In fact we've been asked to do it again at Greenwich Dance Agency Cabaret in London in April. We would like to develop our dance perhaps into something a little longer (4 or 5 mins) for this performance opportunity and are thinking about what to do soundwise.We were wondering whether your 60 second piece was the original piece of music you had created or whether it was part of a longer work? If it was part of a longer work could we listen to it? amy bell and valentina golfieri

Dear Tribe members,
We received almost 200 submissions during round 1 of the GoAnimate Music Video Contest. We are so proud! The jury and our sponsors had a hard time selecting their favorites / prize winners and the Top 15 Tribe songs ready to continue to the second and final round of the contest. The top 15 list will be handed over to the professional GoAnimate Team. In the upcoming days they will introduce these songs to their 600,000 members(animators) ready to participate in the final round of the Music Video Contest. The best Music Video Clip(s), GoAnimate participant(s) and Tribe member(s) will be selected and rewarded on 28 March 2011
I am looking forward to see the many creative, inspiring and fun animations in the upcoming weeks generated by the GoAnimate Tribe. We will keep you all posted of course. But first... the list with 11 Prize Winners GoAnimate Contest.

in New York City on May 29, 2011, by harpist Alyssa Reit in the Composer’s Voice concert series.

OK to try non-traditional techniques (such as harmonics at the 12th, use of soft mallets); OK to use words, simple vocals(alto), or theatrical techniques along with the harp. OK to write for lever harp.

johan mulder - video editor for the NOB + remix freak who works passionate on lots of projects - has created an awesome remix of my free improv. i am a dreamer for harp solo - it is an unique combi of electronic music - dance/lounge + my acoustic harpsounds - i really enjoy this collab because my free lyrical music has given some structure + above all i feel that it is important to share my music in a crossover setting - so it can evolve by the creativity of other artists!
